Worcester Show will return to Pitchcroft on Sunday 9 August, promising a packed day of live music, entertainment and community celebration.
Taking place from 10am to 5pm, the event will feature everything from competition displays and community exhibits to games, sporting demonstrations and cultural performances.
The day will begin with the popular community procession, which gets underway at 10.30am.
The Mayor of Worcester, Councillor Tor Pingree, will officially open the Show before taking to the BBC Hereford & Worcester stage to demonstrate her musical talent with a special acoustic performance.
A varied programme of entertainment will follow throughout the day, including performances from Worcester Mela Dhol Drummers and dancer Nandini, Capas and the Rainmakers, Emma Skipp Band and also DJ Ed Steelfox, who will be bringing the sounds of the 1960s to the Show.
The Secret Cabaret will be joined by singer and songwriter Ava Hackett, fresh from appearing on the Channel 4 television programme The Piano.
Emerging performers and community organisations will be showcased on the Worcester Show Community Stage, providing a platform for local talent.
Worcester Mela will once again bring a vibrant cultural experience to the event with its dedicated marquee, featuring Indian dance workshops, interactive Dhol drumming, storytelling sessions and traditional craft activities.
Visitors can also explore the Competition Marquee, which will display entries across a wide range of categories before trophies are presented at 4.30pm.
Meanwhile, the Community Marquee, sponsored by Platform Housing Group, will be packed with a diverse range of groups.
There is also a full schedule of demonstrations in the Sports Zone and the popular Fun Dog Show.
Visitors can unwind in the Quiet Area, and Nurture Families is providing a dedicated breast feeding and baby changing area, along with sensory toys.
Travelling to the Show couldn’t be easier with Beryl Bikes providing a free 15-minute ride and bike unlocking for journeys starting and ending at Pitchcroft in a temporary bike bay and cycle parking.
This year, the Worcester Show is placing a strong focus on recycling and staff will be on hand to provide recycling advice.
Show sponsor Solar Select will also be attending to provide information and advice on renewable energy and sustainable living.
Visitors can browse a wide variety of stalls offering goods, food and drink from local traders - including refreshments from event sponsors Tripel B and Bottles.
Other attractions include Village Games, alpacas and llamas, Worcester re-enactors and Scouts activities.
Advance tickets are available now at www.worcestershow.org.uk for £2.60 per adult. Tickets purchased on the day cost £4, while children go free.
